"Can't Take It with You" (Bone-Bag 001;002;003)
Monoprint, Ink on Paper; Digital Carbon Inverts of Original Drawings
My concern does not lie in “What You Take with You.” “Memento Mori: Can’t Take ‘It’ with You” is a series that reflects on one’s own mortality. Imagery resembles hybrid specimens of plants, insects, bone fragments and bodily viscera. A stand-in for an item of value, the “Bone-Bag” is meant to parody our reliance on material attachments while emphasizing the transient nature of life and all beings.
