"Self-Sucker" (Invert 029) - from the "Nocturne" Series
2014
Digital Carbon Print of Drawing
52in x 32in Framed

In an effort to explore notions of a middle-realm, I currently photo-capture and digitally invert some of the drawings so as to collect and catalog a “verso” of the completed works. This series of images correlates to the concept of “Nocturne,” flowers or plants that close by day yet open at night. The Naming system for the digital invert relates to the “Vespertine” or “Crepuscular” – nocturnal creatures that animate during the interim phase between dawn and dusk.
